Hi, I suggest the Seattle Indies Slow Jam: https://itch.io/jam/seattle-indies-slow-jam-2022

You don’t have to be from Seattle to join the jam, and it’s about two or so weeks long. It also starts in a week and their discord is active year-round. They have a great community in my opinion - I joined last year’s Slow Jam and it was awesome.

Good luck! Hope it works out!

“First journey”? These look so amazing! You can really tell how passionate you are about the sci-fi genre.

I read the whole thing. Very interesting post-mortem, and personality. Looking forward to more updates on Sunblaze’s release as well as the new logo! Hoping to attend GDC in person in the future as well as I haven’t gone before. See you next week!

You are a great pixel artist! I love seeing each step of the process in detail and each part of the art gets shading and a good amount of complexity. Will you add the Moblin to the environment with the Bokoblin?

Hi I'm the dude. I specialize in character illustration and am looking for paid projects, short or long-term.

I am available to work full-time or part-time. E-mail me (thedude9d2@gmail.com) about your project/needs and we can discuss rates if we're a good match - sorry, no rev-share opportunities at this time.  Also open to game dev studio positions (remote or based in California, USA - full portfolio and resume available upon request).

Connect via Discord only once project is joined if that's what you use.

Expertise:
Character concepts and designs
Character illustrations/splash art
Character portraits for visual novels
Character turnaround sheets for 3D modeling

Going off of what the last poster said, I recommend googling: "concept art mood board".
You can collect images that inspire your game and make a collage for a good idea of what you want.
